[Cray didn't know when it started but over the years She'd found herself growing fond of the Vessel She made. Came to think of i- him as one of Her children.

And seeing Ahmes (or rather, Blaster Blade, as he preferred to be called) look upon the earthly vessel so fondly, She had a feeling the familial affection wasn't something She felt alone.]

I think it's a tragedy that almost nobody else reads cray cross epic except me for several reasons, but it's especially tragic that so few people think this is as funny as I do.
