I wanted to come up with retro, non-chibi designs for Isabell (from Campanella 2) and Nozzlo (the secret boss from Pilot Quest), to match Pilot's original look in Planet Zoldath. Isabell is rescuing Pilot, as you can see. Nozzlo is being his bad self.

Nozzlo's canon design is a bit unnerving. The first time I watched my sister fight him, on the Sega Saturn port of Pilot Quest, I hid behind the sofa. Now, though, he reminds me of a deranged gothic teddy; almost cute.

Kick Club, as I said, softlocks, though I can still get the Nostring. Block Koala on the other hand...

Also, Mooncat nostring is an illustrious achievement since text only appears when you get an egg, which is the end goal. It still technically works though.

I beat Planet Zoldath!!

only 8 minutes... So it really is just about getting the perfect seed... I was in agony when my second fastest run was 20 minutes and 18 seconds, but when I came back to it today I was blessed. Anyway, it was a pretty fun randomized puzzle/exploration game, despite the agony of sometimes losing at the last second.

Speaking of agony, Rakshasa is a nightmare. I started it because I felt like I needed a break from Zoldath, but this shit is so hard. It's like Velgress all over again, except this time the deaths feel even more painful, since it always gives you one last shot to avoid them. But I'm determined... And I'm letting my Pilot Quest save file cook until I get the Wizard Yoyo, because I've fought the secret boss and I'm assuming I need every upgrade to win. So I guess I'll FINALLY treat it like an idle game, while I struggle at the sisyphean task of beating Rakshasa.
