Headcannon
Jupiter can usually control the heat so he doesn’t burn everyone he touches, it doesn’t 100% get rid of the heat but instead turns into a comfortable warmth (still enough to melt the ice giant) Uranus tends to stray way from touching him so they don’t melt but Neptune loves the warmth being the second coldest planet and being so touch starved, Jupiter has started running away to stop Neptune for touching him, but with Neptune just randomly disappearing it can be very hard to do.
He had become a personal heater for Earth and the other rocky planets when every they come visit him, his fine with it, even if it means he can’t read his book when they end up filling asleep, he turns his hands into the perfect amount of heat, lolling them to sleep haha
