Ingredients: 1 cup vital wheat gluten. 1/4 cup nutritional yeast. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup vegetable broth. 1 tablespoon soy sauce. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 375F 190C. In a mixing bowl, combine vital wheat gluten, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together vegetable broth, soy sauce, and olive oil. Pour wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined and forms a dough. Divide dough into small nugget-sized pieces and roll each piece into breadcrumbs, coating evenly. Place coated nuggets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until nuggets are golden and crispy. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
