I've also brought a plant of mine to and from work just in case it decided to bloom while I was gone. I'm a dedicated plant bitch

Grove of very old Punk Trees, also known as Broadleaf Paperbarks (Melaleuca quinquenervia). Most likely planted as part of a job creation program during the Great Depression, which would put them at an unsurprising 90 years old. They can and do grow to be ancient. Check out the trunks on these things. Sydney is at the very southern limit of their natural range. Dulwich Hill.
