The Sun and Moon... collide.
It was a big step to take when Galilea walked outside of her residence without her armor on. It was easily the first time since she joined Ghalt and his crew, and likely the first since her time before the Sisterhood when she didnt have some kind of protection on her.
Messy uncombed short hair, a leather jacket, a shirt, jeans, and actual shoes. In all honesty she felt like an idiot. Though she wasnt completely at odds with how she looked. I look like a normal person for once. Her thoughts echoed in her head. I dont look like the hulking Wraith of Bliss, that could snap at any moment.
She had finally come to some terms of control when it came to her primal self. She was still, deeply afraid that relaxing just once was all it would take. To become the Galilea that exiled herself to the frozen wastes of Bliss. The Galilea, that meticulously counted every Jennerit she’d ever slain, that dark monster was finally at rest. Or at least stalking just below the surface.
Galilea shook her head rapidly to break herself away from her treacherous thoughts. She took her her second step without looking back into her room, and the door closed behind her. She might not have fun tonight, but joining the other battleborn for a few drinks at the bar was a first step. It seemed it was the popular method to deal with ones self in between missions.
She was nervous, but she knew she could do this. I was a normal person before my sustain.... no, that wasnt right. Before my training with the Arbiters.
A constant tug-a-war played in her head as she began walking. All fighting about how she could and couldn’t do this. She began walking faster, the sooner she got there, the less likely she’d be able to talk herself out of this. Her pace quickened.
I REFUSE to give up before I even try! I Refuse...
As she turned the corner she felt her head collide rather forcefuly with someone else’es sounding in a loud thud. She meant to catch herself as she fell backwards, to space her stance and balance to raise her shield and...
Galilea sat on the ground, rubbing her head vigorously. Anger began to rise and she could feel her blood pumping hot. No! You should have been watching where you where going, this is your fault! She though to herself. I should have at least worn my Helm...
“Please... forgive me, I wasn’t...” And she lifted her eyes to look at the person she’d collided with.
It was none other than the Priestess Ambra. Galilea was stunned, speechless, afraid. Her blood began pumping again, her face contorted into an angry scowl, and she attempted to rise.
