It was no secret that New Jericho was policing itself, illegal as it was, the people of freed machines simply did not trust how the humans worked things, they didn’t understand how they ran things here in their little cornered off piece of Detroit, where Androids where free to roam and act as their own, be their own person. Without the interference of those who would wish them to return to what they had been before the revolution. But even so, some Androids weren’t happy about the peaceful approach that Markus had taken during that time those few months ago, wounds where still open, still raw, and it didn’t seem as if they were going to be getting the chance to let those wounds rest and heal as a splinter group of Androids where attacking both human and android, they needed to be stopped and that's what had brought Markus to the Detroit Police Department, this was something that everyone needed to lend a hand on to stop.
He was rather pleased at the fact that Captain Fowler had agreed to his request of a mixed team of both Android and Human to help solve this, it was the best way to create relations between the two groups, the Police Department had to be trusted by the Androids of New Jericho. And the Androids of New Jericho had to be trusted by the Police Department, it was a two way street that they all where walking down. Trust went two ways.
Settling inside of one of their meeting rooms Markus’ mismatched gaze is on the files they had pulled about this splinter group, so far what they had fathered was that they weren’t happy with the way things were currently progressing. This whole thing was rather disconcerting, Markus had thought he had been taking his people in the correct direction but he supposed, there would always be someone wanting to rise up against him and halt progress.
A sigh escapes from Markus’ lips and he almost misses the sound of the door opening, almost, but not quite, his mismatched eyes raise to lock onto the Android that entered and Markus offers a smile as strained as it was.
“Hello, I’m Markus”
