Inking Challenge Day 28: Memory Sparkle
Day two: "Mirror" from the Plastober prompt list. Featuring Ianthe and Coronabeth Tridentarius of the Locked Tomb book series.
[Image description: Digital "pencil" drawing of Ianthe Tridentarius and Coronabeth Tridentarius of the Locked Tomb book series. They are depicted as identical twins, but Ianthe is skinny with flat, straight hair and a right arm that is stripped to bone, and Corona is full-figured with big, wavy hair. Ianthe is leaning forward to apply makeup to Corona, who is taking the place of her own reflection in a large, oval mirror. End image description.]
remember what i said last time that shit hit the fan? yeah uh - this time shit didn’t just hit the fan, it hit the air conditioner and the light fixtures too because last semester basically blew up in my face, and was the worst one i had thus far; we had to make two complete games :))))) but i will spare you the details, this is the last entry for the challenge i did *looks at watch* october of last year. hoo boy. even last year’s december holidays were really busy for me so i didn’t manage to finish this in time sooooo yeah here it is now, the chocobros from ffxv because my boyfriend @nelythseed getting into it made me get back into it a small bit, and i have him to thank for providing me with images of the regalia specifically from this angle so i could use it as a reference, you’re the best leo <3 ((side note i’ve also been drawing a lot for other stuff like school and things outside of fanart but uh idk if i can post them anywhere else so yeah i ain’t dead)
Real / Not Real
Plastober day 2 ‘mirror’
can’t say that this wasn’t fun
at this point I am mostly following my own schedule
Day seven Boat.
Yeah, all I could think is of a paper boat and I did not realize it was pretty much the same colors as my last picture. Welp this is what I got and I am fine with it.
Plastober day 11: beach
Rather than drawing a conventional beach, I decided to do a beached whale. A fake whale. In the middle of a desert. Short story to follow for context:
In a bar, an automated robotic voice alights over the speaker system. There's no one in the bar, nor are there any people in the streets. The bar is clean and tidy, as a light wind rushes outside, whistling the power wires.
"News for Jantar 12th, 4983. The gargantuan Skywhale, also known as the Flying City, finally crashes in the Setranoval Desert, killing all 756,254 people onboard instantly. This was its maiden voyage, having sustained 44,783 days of continuous flying, before losing attitude suddenly and without warning. With this tragic turn of events, the total population of planet Meisdan is brought down to...”
Bzzt. Crunk. Clickclickclickclickclick. Gears shift. Counters decline. The robotic voice pauses as the computer calculates.
“…zero.”
Satisfied, the voice withdraws once more into the depths of the dark bar. Dry wind whistles outside. There's no one on the streets. Not anymore.
Plastober #2: Guilty There are times in which you do terrible things, and other times in which your atonement might be almost as terrible...
