The Doctor's Workshop: A Crossover-Friendly OC Roleplaying/Ask Blog

Fandom: Ultimate Crossover (basically, it’s a free-for-all, ladies and gentlemen! More info in the Setting line)

Pairing: Romantic, rivalry or friendship pairings are welcome, but be aware that one of my characters is (technically) a minor, so any romantic pairings with said character cannot go too far, if you get my meaning

Character(s) you want to play: My characters consist of two OCs; Doctor Innovatium, a particularly mad and strange Victorian inventor, and Alice, his teenage robot daughter.

Character(s) you want your partner to play: Any characters from any fandom, as well as OCs, are welcome to RP

Setting: The main setting takes place in the Workshop, a pocket dimension floating around the Realm of Fantasy, otherwise known as the Imagiverse (you could call this the universal setting). To summarise the nature of the Imagiverse, it is essentially a Jungian multiverse where all worlds from all manners of media (cartoons, books, movies, games, etc.) exist, with an established, over-arching lore (mostly inspired by the Discworld novels) which you can learn as we go along.

Prompt:

Across the Realm of Fantasy, otherwise known as the Imagiverse, a strange signal is being broadcast by an elusive inventor, shrouded in legend as the man who discovered the life blood of the universe, a near-infinite power source and overall peculiar substance. A mysterious accident in the 1890s caused him, and his workshop, to vanish without a trace, and no one at the time knew where he went or whether he was still alive.

Now, the strange Doctor Innovatium, who now resides in a pocket dimension separate from time and space and is rather loopy from the isolation, calls across time and space to re-introduce himself to the universe that has long forgotten him. He is accompanied by his robot daughter, Alice, who has served as the Doctor’s only companion in his isolated dimensional bubble and seeks to interact with the world outside.

RP Style: My usual roleplaying style can be rather wordy and articulate, normally spanning a paragraph or two. However, I can do quick back-and-forth responses as well, so you needn’t worry about writing paragraphs for each reply.

Seeking roleplay partner for characterstudy rp!

Hi! I’m seeking to do a relaxed roleplay that focuses on the characterstudy. I have my OC’s and a story where they belong, but I would love to study their personalities and backgrounds with a roleplay. So if you have OC (your own or fandom) you’d like to study and practice, this is perfect for that! We can use any alternate universe, my world, your world, whatever works. The main goal is to have fun with the characters and learn more about their behaviour, looks and stories. I write very grim stories, so I won’t be doing fluff. It needs to have drama, action and emotion - both happy and sad. I’d like to see deeper feelings from my characters to see how they are, so keeping it light won’t work for me. - You need to be 18: I want to write violence, smut, gore, swearing, druguse and all those kind of things, so you need to be at least 18. - I’m okay with both, smut or fade to black. - Pairings: I’m fine with all, M/M, F/F, M/F, nongender… any, really. Orgies, whatever. I can write tops and bottoms, submissives, dominating ones, switches, what ever. I have characters for all of these categories; I won’t write character out of character though, so if my OC won’t dominate, they won’t. - My characters have a lot of issues, please be ready for that! Haha. Trashy ones, violent ones, people with issues. - Chill and relaxed: style is free. I like to do past tense/third person but I’m okay with any style you want to write. I will still write in my style, but for me any style is okay to read. One-liners are okay too if they give me enough material to react on. I usually write according to the other, the more there is to react and describe, the more I write. I don’t enjoy writing “empty sentences”, going in detail about something that isn’t actually important or interesting. So no length for just length - again, you can do it if you like to write like that, but I don’t need specific length, just something to react on. - Hate/violence/narrow thinking is totally fine from YOUR CHARACTER, but I want you to be open and understanding. - I will rp a lot when it’s fun and inspiring. If you want to do it more rarely, that’s ok! Fast, fun, relaxed roleplay is my favourite. - I love fast dialogue, good descriptions about places/people, interesting characters, backgroundstories… - I like BDSM and a lot of kinks but they are not a must in the roleplay. There are hardly any limits. If it’s something the character does, it is. There are things I don’t want to write smut about but I can write a grim/horror/sad scene about. I can write more darker scenes too, but that can’t be material for turn ons but actual character study and practising dark scenes. The scenes can be studied properly with different views, but we need to have conversation going on when we rp it - to secure a safe environment for us both. About me: 25 year old, loves animals, writing, drawing, tarotcards, witchcraft, naturedocumentaries, tv-series, arts and crafts, memes and bad puns, napping and good scents.
