According to Fountain Pens of Japan, by Lambrou and Sunami, Platinum used the name President on pens for export in the 1950s and early 1960s, including a Parker 51 homage model and the Honest ’60. This 5 5/8 inch long pen has a yellow color resin cap and barrel with black end caps and gold plated trim. The clip has an Art Deco design. The two tone gold nib is stamped PRESIDENT over 18K over the nib grade over PLATINUM (this one is a medium).
