TEN INCH HERO
OKAY IM WATCHING THIS RN AND THE END WHERE HE LIKE LOOKS ALL CLEAN SHAVEN AND EVERYTHING OMG IM CRYING AND THEY ACTUALLY GOT MARRIED IRL FFS
ASDJHGLFKJGHSDLKFJSD TEN INCH HERO IS SO CUTE I CANT HANDLE IT
Let me explain something
Priestly didn't change for Tish... He let go of his defense mechanisms and showed her a part of him he was ashamed of. Jensen's said the reason he didn't go back to his wild hair and clothing for the wedding scene is because Jensen had already shaved and they were like ".. oh." But Priestly didn't stop being Priestly for Tish. He stopped hiding. Hiding behind the crazy shirts and hair and piercings... hiding out of view by putting himself so in view. He showed her the softer side of himself... that's what the change in appearance was. It was to show him literally showing her the softer less rough side of himself. The more insecure side. He was open and honest about his insecurity while dressed all preppy rather than hiding behind sarcasm. That was the point. He didn't change for her, he let go.
I'm actually really annoyed and tired of seeing things about how he changed and that was the only bad part about the movie, because that's not true and if you think it is you're missing the whole fucking point of the movie. The point is it's awesome to be lucky enough to find people who love you so much and so unconditionally that you can show your most vulnerable parts to them and they won't turn away, but rather will love you more. That's why every character has a secret vulnerability that they eventually share and then find love through.
