Might also deny it because he refuses to acknowledge that he is role model worthy enough for you to consider him your big brother

If you call him big brother to his face he might freeze a bit, trying to process everything you've just said-
But if you repeat it to clarify he wasn't imagining that, and you really did call him big brother..he might grab you and start inspecting you. "Where did your brains go kid-...did you...lose a portion of it?"

All in all, is he a perfect role model brother? No...far from it. But Is he a good brother? He's definitely trying that's for sure.

Wants to hide you from things or people that may hurt you ofc so get used to randomly being dragged into shadow portals or hidden behind a wall while he waits for someone to leave

Honestly it was probably the baby monkeys or just the monkeys of FFM that caused him to find you.
Immediately panicked because he does NOT know how to care for human children. Monkey kids? Easy peasy. But humans? Different story.
Had to come clean to MK because...THIS MAN NEEDS HELP. Did it deflate his giant ego? A little bit. But it definitely stung more to know his Attempts to care for you had been..not great?
He could have asked you, which you tried to point out several times that you needed something or that he was doing something wrong, but this sturrbon monkey refused to listen
