Anxiety/low spoon day.  (︶︹︺) If it weren’t for this game, I’d probably be in a baaaad headspace.

I had some neat surprises in my town today. It looks like Shampoodle is FINALLY going to open - and I’m about to get Super T&T, which is something.. well, we’re just getting started, right?

My villagers have been saying I’m “independent”.. but I feel like I talk to them too much, so I don’t totally understand. I guess I’ll have to bug them even more.

I CAN’T FIND TANGY ANYWHERE. I’ve looked ALL over town, at her house, and even at the beach. What in the hay happened to my juicy sweet little orange blossom?

Got over my social anxiety enough to visit Mayor Emu for a bit. Isn’t it silly that I would get anxious over a game? 

Did some trading in the subs today. Made a killing selling turnips and perfect cherries!

I need to get better about visiting my new friends. I’ve already met some really awesome folks in this community. Why am I so shy?

I started chopping down aaaaall my trees in the upper half of my town for landscaping. I doubt my villagers will like that much, but they’ll just have to deal with it.

Beat Vsav arcade mode with Morrigan on the Capcom Fighting Collection! Lilith's fight felt so much harder than I remember from on PS3, with Darkstalkers Resurrection.

But it is worth it because now I get to reflect on how much I like Morrigan's arc in the Darkstalkers series, with the whole having half of her power sealed away but being reunited with it after it manifested as Lilith. (But the crossover nut in me can't help but think of the probably-fake foreshadowing the "I feel like I can do anything." line could be read as.)

gameplay diary, 5/3/17:

good day in AC land. I utilized my spoons to get some pressing IRL stuff done, but I also got some time in to fulfill my mayoral  duties. I had Mayor Angelina of Angeland over to drop off the sweet wanderer, Katie... and then one of my oldest friends in the world, @mayorpeach​ and I visited. While I was in her town, I met my new DREAMIE, Pinkie.  ･ﾟ･(｡>ω<｡)･ﾟ･

I also got to visit Mayor Dani of @animalcrossingnewleafshop to pick up some Kiki & Lala items... she even offered me 2 breeding pairs of hybrid roses! Have I mentioned how much I love this community?

I also designed a new outfit - a paint-splattered dress which really does mimic my IRL appearance. And, I finally found Tangy! I think she likes me, because she gave me like three random gifts and the sand dollar I gave her is totally on display in her casa.

Gameplay journal, 5/4:

I didn’t even get to play during the day today.  (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞

My mayor slept through Katrina, and tripped all over town. I couldn’t catch bugs to save my life.

BUT I DID GO TO THE ISLAND AND SCORE SEVERAL SILVER AXES. I’ve never even seen them in the gift shop, in all my years, so I had to do a double take. I can’t wait to redistribute that wealth, folks.

gameplay diary, 4/26/17:

I just got off work, so I’m too lazy to make this a fancy entry. (I think writing these/having a blog is keeping me invested in the game though, so I’m going to keep it up!)

I woke up with CRAZY ANXIETY and firing up my 3DS really helped. That, my friends, is why I still play this silly game. Tortimer came to tell me all about his island paradise, our fence PWP reached it’s donation goal, and Cyrus just woke up! My mayor still has crazy bedhead, but things are coming along. Right before I left for work, Mayor Malia (@rabbit-crossing) came over to catch a butterfly, and we chatted a bit. It’s nice to have people to play with!

I’m a bit sad because Katt is leaving on the 3rd. She’s my only uchi, her birthday’s coming up, AND I haven’t gotten her picture (one of my goals is to get every villager pic before I let them leave). I even have a wrapped present for her  (╯︵╰,)
