Today's major event(s)

I went to Introduction to the Gaming Season 2013, a one-day course held by my union. Exciting stuff. 

Besides getting a quick description of some of the games that are on the market (and if they're already available from the national library system) there was a workshop and some good old hands on experience. 

I found it pretty neat to watch a bunch of adults flail around with iPads and yell requests at each other while having a whole lot of fun. Although the part where I was playing different board games with complete strangers was pretty great too.
