Tonight I have a fun treat for you planned -- a play-by-play review of the Mattel film “Barbie as The Princess and the Pauper,” starring (of course) our good friend Barbie! Want to move on from jcink rps?

This is kind of controversial. I usually don’t give a shit about roleplay drama, but I feel like a warning is in place about this, especially for people who are trying to break free of the jcink format. Stay away from r/rolepaly on reddit if you have any self-respect for your own roleplay. Why? Because the owner of that subreddit is a power-tripping administrator.  Right now, this subreddit has a ban on certain genres within the roleplay community who doesn’t fit with their “tone”, but this isn’t mentioned anywhere in their rules. If they (aka the owner) don’t like your genre, you won’t be allowed to advertise with them. This isn’t the only example of unspoken rules that this subreddit has, there are plenty of other rules that they won’t publicly show to the community. Ask them what r/roleplaynsfw is about; it’s not about smut; It’s a place for 18+ people who are apparently elitist writers because they are above the age of eighteen. Remember when you turned eighteen and suddenly became Stephen King?

Thoughts while watching the Unauthorized Portal 2 musical

In case yall thought I couldn’t geek out about anything but Undertale, I’ll have you know I had a very unhealthy relationship with Portal and Portal 2 for a while. So I thought I’d provide some play-by-play commentary as I watched the Portal 2 Unauthorized Musical for the first time. Spoilers and a VERY long post under the cut. This goes up to the intermission, because that’s about when I passed out from exhaustion yesterday. Will finish and reblog with more thoughts tonight!
