Hello! Yes! Thank you so much for these kind words. I absolutely can give you the gist of the face claim guidelines—the short version, then the long version! Here's the short version regarding rules, restrictions, and requirements for face claims:

... There aren't a lot of rules, restrictions, or requirements for face claims.

Let me tell you a little bit about the long version, though: First, face claims will be optional. You may or may not have noticed I wasn't using one for my character Frances, for example. I wholeheartedly support the use of aesthetic imagery, description, vibe, and faceless photos if that's the way you wanna go for your character. But maybe it's not! If you're interested in using a face claim, then you may choose any celebrity or professional, forward-facing public entertainment figure—such as an actor, model, musician, or comedian, et cetera—who is 18 years of age or older. (I have no other restrictions regarding casting your characters: I'm not going to do an age-adjacent rule. I won't police what time period you pull your stars and celebrities from. And I'm not going to require anything super specific about their images other than their size.) Personally, I think writers tend to be pretty good at sticking to their own comfort zones and preferences regarding face claims—so I'm going to let you all do that. (:

So by all means: let a few characters begin to form in your mind...
