I had some things to paint today, so I turned on @taylorswift’s playlist on Apple Music. This song came on and I just wanted to say thank you so much Tay, for putting this song on there. The opening lyrics “Truth is, it’s hard being happy” spoke to my soul. Since February 2018 I have had a hard time believing that happiness truly exists. I stopped believing in happiness and in just good things in the world in general. Of course, every now and then I get a glimmer of what “happiness” feels like, but then my mind takes me into the downward spiral of darkness. It’s been a battle every day, and I’m really proud to say that it’s been mostly uphill lately, with just a few stumbles now and then.

“We’re all messed up, ain’t nothing to hide from” 🖤✨ Even when she isn’t releasing new music YET- Taylor gives us songs she thinks we’ll need. I love her so much for that.
