--Gilgamesh Cosplay Rundown--
~The Headpiece~ (Part 2)
The floof part was created by rolling up a small length of fur and gluing it together unto a wire. Also wrapped craft foam around the bottom of it and slid on the painted wooden beads.
The weight of the fur was a bit too much to stand on its own from the wire, so I had to secure it more with some apoxie sculpt. It was added into every joint between the beads too, so it wouldn’t bend over at any point!
The floof was also given a bit of airbrushing paint for the colored tip - pink and yellow
All the other details were done: added the small horns by just covering a small scrap of EVA foam with fabric. -Beadwork was hung/sewn around one of the horns -Snaps were sewn into the bottom neck veil? part. That way he could unsnap it and take off the headpiece without having to slide it off his face and chance ruining his makeup.
And ta-dah! Headpiece done!
If you have further questions/concerns on how I did a particular piece on this, please ask! I love answering cosplay construction questions! Or of any part was confusing, let me know and I’ll try to clarify!
