If there’s to be another Hunger Games book, I’d like it to be Annie’s game from Finnick POV.

I want the behind the scenes from a mentors point of view, bit like we had it with Snow but from a district mentor POV. I want the nitty gritty near Katniss time. How far mentors have to go to ensure the safety of their protégé, the dilemmas of what they had to be willing to pay knowing there’s a chance it’s all for nothing. What you have to do when your plans don’t fit the Capitol’s well-planned narrative. The alliances with other mentors or the influence of mind-game/slavery with the sponsors.

How many sponsors Finnick had to bribe? How many secrets did he have to threaten to spill? How did he use his TV influence during interviews? Did he had to spoil other tributes chances at sponsors since no one would help Annie so at least they’d all have equal footing? How did Mags guide him on the thin line between self-care and devotion for mentees. Was he already interested in Annie before the game or did she became some kind of obsession of “If I can’t save them all let me at least save her”. How did Finnick react when people told him Annie wasn’t worth it after she turned mad and how desperate was he to proove them wrong because if she’s not worth it than what is he good for?

Finnick won the 65 at 14, Annie the 70th Hunger Game. My boy was 19. Finnick had a very interesting spot as the Capitol Favourite, so I really would like to know a game from his POV and I think Annie’s would work greatly since she did win. You can’t convince me the Capitol had plan for the “Crazy Annie” of 4 to win once she turned mad during the games. So how did that go? Sure she could swim, but we all know there was more to it since there always is. Now I want to see the iceberg from under the surface. I want to see how far and how dark and cold it goes.
