The Two-Tailed Tabaxi race is an uncommon sapient species that live in a secluded part of the world. About a millennia ago, they hid themselves from the world due to being feared and ostracized in part due to their lycanthropy and attracting disasters. Nine leaders arose to create their new society and their descendants are in part considered nobility. Around that time, eight heroes came to defend them from an ancient disaster and it is said that their spirit continues to live on each generation of those who best represent their ideals. The tabaxi of this society can wed outside their clans though it is typically customary that the offspring will belong to the the family of the parent of higher standing. All of them are lycanthropes. Dire lycanthropes are rare but can easily be identified by their red irises. Half dire bloods (no red irises) grow larger than regular lycanthropes but not as big as true bloods.
Seeker/Noct: An apprentice to a powerful wizard, he has only recently learned the existence of other two-tailed tabaxi. He is a hybrid breed of tiger from his father and a commoner tabaxi clan from his mother. His appearance and height more reflects more from his mother aside from his mane that comes from his father. Given that his father was a form clan leader, he belongs to the Tiger Clan. His personality and demeanor reflects the spirit of an ancient Tabaxi, Alephoense the Dragontamer.
Getter/Dion: Seeker's older half-brother from his father's side. A warrior at heart, he travels with a few fellow lycanthropes in search of his brother and the whereabouts of his father and step-mother. A good natured, sentimental tabaxi, he cares for his friends and family. Current clan leader of the Tiger Clan. His personality and demeanor reflects the spirit of an ancient Tabaxi, Balender the True Blade.
Timer/Lumbral: One of, if not the strongest Two-Tailed Tabaxi. Apart from his strength, he possesses great intellect. Timer is also a hybrid breed with his father hailing from a common white-furred clan and his mother from the noble Panther Clan. He's inherited his mother's dire blood but his father's fur. He denied the position of clan leader of the Panther Clan to be a simple merchant. He felt staying in his homeland too limiting to his curiosity and was one of the few to leave. His personality and demeanor reflects the spirit of an ancient Tabaxi, Reneiscant the Merchant King.
Plunder/Cervantes: An amnesiac Tabaxi from the Serval Clan. An honorable warrior who often protected the less fortunate. Even after his memory loss, his personality stayed relatively the same. A pirate now serving under the blue dragon Rekirier, he steals from the rich but often spares the poor. Even with kidnappings, he treats his prisoners with respect. Really close with another pirate captain, Garroway. His personality and demeanor reflects the spirit of an ancient Tabaxi, Anatonios the Noble Thief.
Reverb/Tuner: An offspring of two members of the Snow Leopard Clan. Though Seeker was born in their homeland, Reverb was born outside of it and has never been there. His father is a warrior and a dire lycanthrope while his mother is an apothecary with normal lycanthropy. Reverb like most of his clan (with the exception of his father), are calm, mellow types with an affinity towards music. His personality and demeanor reflects the spirit of an ancient Tabaxi, Delifran the Donor.
Tracker/Forte: Tracker has only just left his homeland in search of Reverb's father. While part of the Leopard Clan, he is a distant cousin of Reverb though has never actually met him. The Leopard and Snow Leopard clans are close companions and compliment each other pretty well. While the Snow Leopards are calm and mellow, the Leopard Clan are excitable and full of energy. He is an offspring of dire lycanthropes and as such, is one as well. His personality and demeanor reflects the spirit of an ancient Tabaxi, Euler the Deserter.
Caster/Merlin: Caster is from the noble family of the Familiar Clan. The members of the clan are the smallest and most innately magical. Outside of full moons, it's extremely rare for the members of this clan to transform as they don't benefit much from the transformation. They are believed to hail from ancient tabaxi familiars. They are the scholars of their society and usually augment or acts as aids for their larger compatriots, often providing support and healing. Caster has a sense of adventure and a snarky sense of humor. He usually guides wanderers to their society and also ensures they are unable to speak of their existence through intricate spells if they need to leave. His personality and demeanor reflects the spirit of an ancient Tabaxi, Gelion the Lunar Sage.
Pleader/Tybalt: A member of the Mountain Lion Clan and one who has considered leaving his homeland. He wishes to learn more about the world and its history. His clan documents history and architecture and Pleader has fully invested himself into this. His personality and demeanor reflects the spirit of an ancient Tabaxi, Xelrin the Architect.
