What if Tatiana’s family rejected her when she went back for them?
Like, yeah, she kept tabs on them but they haven’t seen or heard from her in years. Prisoner of My Past insinuates that Tatiana was four when she last saw her family (at least that’s how I hear it). So imagine this woman, who looks like your long lost relative all grown up, showing up with fake passports. Keep in mind that this is 1960s Soviet Union and defectors and family members of defectors of the communist regime are still being arrested.
Would you believe this woman who insists that she’s your relative? Would you go with her? Or would you think that this is a test? You’ve already lost one family member to the government.
Plus Tatiana probably finds out sooner or later that Curt lied about Chimera being completely destroyed. Imagine if she found out after they reject her. She put her entire family in danger again for a fruitless endeavour.
