Long Day.

The medical staff was full of hustle and bustle. The Quel’dorei woman standing in front of the drawn curtains in his post-surgery room. It wasn’t too long after the nurse left the woman that the curtain rustled lightly and the bed creaked with his movements. A bunching of the curtains was taken and pulled aside before showing the man, bandages and wrappings around his chest, waist, arms, and neck. 

However, at his waist was a little mobile table, set up wide and set up with cups and a teapot. A plate with several cookies laid on it beside a Chai mixture with gooseberries. A book laid before him with a pen in his fingers; writing down what looked like a report of sorts before his eyes immediately glanced up to her, smiling lightly with a tilt of his head. 

“Oh, lookin’ beautiful, love. Glad ta see you got away a bit better off than I did.” He adjusting himself to sit up a bit straighter before laying down the pen and grinning lightly. “..so.. I may have slipped the nurse a few coin to bring me some.. comforts. Wanted to share ‘em with you though, see how you’re holding up.” He motioned her to join him at the foot of his bed. “Not a fancy tavern but I’m not exactly allowed to leave, yet.” He blinked his golden orbs once or twice, almost nervous. 

“..please, just don’t hit me.” He laughed lightly.
