PLEASING DROP 1 REVIEW - a quick follow up
The Pleasing review in this video is at 0-3 min mark, then 10:41-end.
This guy has actually met Harry a few times, because he was a stylist at Top Shop back when H used to shop there in 1D days.
One point he makes that I disagree with is that it takes too long to dry. Of course it will take long, for any nail polish, if you apply a really thick layer. But also, you *need* to apply a top coat to finish off and seal the polish. This is the case for any and all polishes. I like quick drying top coats because they actually do dry polish quicker.
The pink and white do need more layers to look opaque. However, after using them a few times already, I find that reasonable layers will give you a perfect look with 2 coats.
I did my nails for Valentine's with the pink. I used a base coat, 2 pink coats, 1 coat of pearly top, and a quick drying top coat. They lasted 2 weeks:
And I've been using the black a lot. I do a base coat, 2 layers of black, and a quick drying top coat. Sometimes I add Pearly Top to make it look blue. I *always* seal it with a top coat. They lasted 2 weeks:
After wearing these polishes for the last few months I find that they can last up to 2 weeks if you do your nails well. If you do it quickly then they'll easily last about a week. If you don't use a base and top coat to seal it, it'll start to chip after 3 days. You *always* need to use a top coat to seal the polish.
Here's how to properly do your nails:
