Aight I’ve thought of doing a doc (and I am!) it’s just it’s gonna be a while before I can get it all organized, so I thought I’d spit out some facts about v.gate and a few other characters to hold y’all down for a while👍🏻
- one thing I wanna make clear. None of my characters are outright good nor evil. Some may lean one way more than others but each have certain morals that will and can lead them to make choices that may make you think twice about supporting them. (Basically not your typical morally righteous anime protagonist).
- v.gate constantly tests her morals. Sometimes she’s forced to live with the consequences of behavior she has no control over. (Aka when parasite wants to take control simply to screw with her). She’s always on edge because of this and will get rid of anything that plans on getting in her way. No chances.
- she’s very cunning, always seeing how she can benefit and manipulate a situation to her advantage. Even if it does costs some lives or other damage.
- she and parasite do not like having to share a body. Though they need each-other to survive they hate it. Parasite basically always constantly threatening to mess up v.gates entire life just for the hell of it. She’s woken up surrounded by dead bodies. And has had breakdowns because of this.
- due to this she prefers to stay distant from others. Only choosing a handful of people to get close enough with. These people tend to be very valuable to her or people she holds dear.
-random Zareena one, zareena seeks justice to a strong degree. To the point of quite literal torture for the criminals/targets she faces. Sometimes it’s not even necessary force but she loses control and causes more damage than she wishes to.
-zareena also overworks herself alot. She believes she isn’t deserving of peace and break time. Which is why most times she’s a sarcastic prick. It isn’t until v.gate bans her from stepping foot in her office for at least an hour does she find the time to chill.
-Tigard is a criminal who’s basically on a leash. It’s not that she hates working with v.gate. It’s the fact that there’s stuff hanging over her head that’s being taken advantage of. She’s the type to constantly test v.gates boundaries. And sometimes almost gets herself killed simply because she won’t shut up.
-Tigard and zareena have a frenemies with benefits thing going on. Don’t know if I’ll make it official tho-
-parasite is actually somewhat fond of decoy. They see themself in her. She’s the only one she’ll be decent with.
- General is slightly inspired by Bondrewd I haven’t seen the full manga or anime but watching some deep dives into his character she has a very similar vibe. Most times she’s has a very calm demeanor. She believes genuinely that she’s achieving the greater good and helping to ‘improve’ the planet. She’s both ‘caring’ yet isn’t afraid to sacrifice anything or anyone if it means achieving her goals.
-heads up! This is a horror sci-fi story. Meaning plenty of body horror and what not. With that I have an idea (it’s not completely finished but ik I wanna do it for general) But my idea is that she real specifically respawns differently from the rest. As in as soon as her body is destroyed she burst out of the nearest proper body (including corpses). Doesn’t matter who, when, or where.
It actually first happened in the lab which led to the scientist have to ‘fix’ that for future ena experimentation. Either creating special modified dummies/objects that don’t involve literally killing someone. Or they simply have people on backup for that.
Kinda also why Enas are more feared. And possibly why people look at em with disgust. And why people are banned from hurting them. Cuz well you might be grotesquely ripped apart as they crawl out your body:>
and I imagine it’s happened in public before
