It's definitely difficult to get down his poetic speech, and anyone who hasn't played through his marriage route definitely tends to go overboard with his manner of speaking, but I think these fics work really well for charictarisation if you're looking for inspiration for him

I always like the idea that mermaids or sirens are much bigger than humans and have quite alien looking faces that they can make look terrifying ( unhinged jaw up to the ear dripping with fangs and lashing tongues, large black eyes, five of them and ‘hair’ writhing) or move to more mimics human faces, eyebrow markings and everything. This is the one Bill likes to use around Dipper.
