Well. I have pleurisy. In my ribs.

Everything hurts

...I hate pleurisy... Not only is my pneumonia killing me, nah, now my ribs and back are fucking inflamed and it hurts to lie down, or put pressure on my ribs. This fucking hurts and I just wanna sleep but guess what I can't do BC it hurts-

Chest pain has been worse today. Not sure what I do really 🤷🏻‍♀️ wait till Monday and speak to a GP if no better? Don't think the pain should be worsening.

Still think it's most likely pleurisy but Jesus, if I'm saying the pain is bad the pain is BAD.

yes very! pleurisy is inflammation of the tissue lining the lungs & chest cavity, which can be one of the forms of inflammation caused by SLE. some studies estimate 50% of people with lupus have some form of lung involvement (not necessarily pleurisy)

Pleurisy

Looks like I might have it. Every single symptom checks out. Although I don't believe it is viral or bacterial from an infection. It's probably from straining from a coughing fit I had a while ago due to pills going down the wrong way.

Pressure on my chest helps relieve pain associated with breathing. I'm thinking a binder might help?

Does anyone have any good recommendations for a cheap binder. It's only temporary so it doesn't need to be fancy.
