Ok they weren't entirely chased off but I have seen the failwoman poll, pirate poll, and second Dracula sexyman bracket all implode. The Dracula bracketrunner is still around but limits their presence on tumblr.

There are probably more polls that ended in tears; I don't actually seek any of these things out.

yes very! pleurisy is inflammation of the tissue lining the lungs & chest cavity, which can be one of the forms of inflammation caused by SLE. some studies estimate 50% of people with lupus have some form of lung involvement (not necessarily pleurisy)

I like to watch shows for ships sometimes without ever thinking they're going to be any close to canon or happy, it just means I'm harvesting canon for new writing/RP inspo

that's not really the point im trying to make 😭 like ik this is a tumblr problem not a real life problem but i just find it vaguely annoying when there's a genuinely good tv show with an interesting gay plotline that isn't a basic will-they-wont-they / coming out storyline and then the fans water it down it into the most boring fanfic trope stuff ever...... i don't want to read about canon endgame tomgreg i want tom to be slowly driven mad by his repressed homosexual desires but never say them out loud and die unfulfilled in a way that will have half of tumblr crying queerbait and the other half crying bury your gays

Here's what I don't understand about your posts on RSD/the term, and your comment about "people with BPD really meaning they'll want to die if you leave", as someone who pretty generally agrees with your takes. If it's manipulative to just have an emotional reaction, what's the alternative? How does someone not be manipulative if their feelings, not the reaction to the feelings, but the feelings themselves, are manipulation?

Whether or not you commit suicide is ALWAYS a choice. It is NEVER something someone else drove you to, unless they were persistently bullying or abusing you.

If you do it, that’s you DECIDING that it’s too much work for you to find a new partner/friend/FP, and that dying is a better alternative than doing that work.

Suicide isn’t someone else’s fault. It’s yours.

Do you think Fred has the same tendency to compulsive self-control that Archie does? The staying up all night, working out all the time.

DELICIOUS FOOD!!! I think that’s definitely where Archie gets it... Mary’s also an overworker but that’s more the pursuit of an end goal than a personal thing... Mary is more “my project has to be perfect” while Fred and Archie are like “i have to be perfect”.... in my opinion. Also Mary actually knows what self care is and why it’s important to budget for it while Archie and Fred do not. 

Fred absolutely doesn’t sleep and pulls late nights all the time. partly because he has too much anxiety to sleep but also I think he’s become so self-reliant that the default is “work very hard alone and get it all done myself” and he feels like he has to be working and sacrificing all the time... hence him sitting up nights doing taxes and stuff (which is definitely what his dad used to do!!! he used to see artie sitting up with a calculator all the time after the kids had gone to bed and he internalized that that was what the person in the paternal role did...)

As for the working out I don’t think adult fred follows a strict workout schedule but he ABSOLUTELY did as a teen and it was very much tied to his self discipline thing... whenever he got down on himself adhering to a routine like that made him feel more in control and like a “better” person, someone his dad could be proud of cuz he was making tangible changes instead of lollygagging... it also made him a lot more energized cuz he would switch into his rigorously disciplined mode where he actually got a lot done and thrived under... but it got tied into his sense of self worth in a way that wasn't healthy

okay so cas doesn't technically get pregnant with jack, but he DOES feel the moment he's conceived, and he DOES gain a deep connection to him bc he felt him kick in the womb, and he DOES die as he's being born, and jack IS born with the knowledge that cas is his dad (not giving a fuck about his bio dad, lucifer) and dean DOES spend the eps where cas is dead acting like he died in childbirth, and when cas comes back dean DOES refer to jack (who looks like a mix between him and cas and is an nephilim and who is exactly like cas in the same way claire is exactly like dean) as "our son"
