Seizure presentation

My poor sister went to the hospital the other day with what appeared to be seizures. Turns out she has pleuritis. Turns out the extra fluid in her lungs pressed on her heart and presented as a seizure. She is getting a second opinion but still crazy stuff. Hope this helps someone.

Pleurisy is making my life living hell, I haven't gotten out of bed longer then an hour since Monday since I can't breathe and my body is so sore ughhhhhhg

So apparently I have pleuritis?? Which is like a lung inflammation

I have antibiotics now so hopefully that helps it

I wonder if the Lexapro could have triggered this? It’s weird that it happened at like the exact same time...

Ava update

So Ava came back from Nova Scotia maybe 2 months ago and I started riding her and really liked her and everything was good, but then she got her shoes off so her feet were sore, and she was really lazy, then one night we thought she was colicing because she had shallow breathing and didn't want to eat anything and stuff like that, and after that she started to drop in weight a lot. So Nat came back from the show and we found out that she actually has pleuritis which derives from shipping fever and is where they get fluid around their lungs and it's hard for them to breath and they lose a bunch if weight. I feel so bad for her because she is only 7 and she is so skinny and looks so dull :( I really hope she pulls through, she was looking a bit better today and was eating a bit so that's good

I woke up this morning with that unmistakeable chest pain whenever I breathe or swallow... No doubt about it, it's pleuritis again. I immediately had to restrain myself from bursting into tears. I haven't had pleuritis since October, when I was at my absolute worst. To combat it, I was taking 50mg of prednisone daily. This was back when I was taking upwards of 15 pills a day, between the steroids and immunosuppressants and raging toxins meant to kill my immune system before it could kill me. This was just before I failed a dementia screening.

That will not happen again. I don't care what happens, I will not let myself be subjected to a battery of toxic chemicals again. I'm going to find a way to treat this without steroids.

It's just so upsetting because I was just starting to think that maybe I was going into remission.
