So about eight days ago, my sister and I finally got some Plexi Glass installed for our windows, after hearing about one of our classmates tell us about how Nightwing got thrown through her living room window by a mobster at like 9 pm. (Also because one wall has three floor-to-ceiling windows on it). This includes the window leading to our fire escape.

So, last night my sister and I were watching Jurassic Park, when we hear this god-awful thud to our right, and lo and behold, Red Hood is scrambling to to stop himself from falling down our fire escape after hitting the glass. He either didn’t realise we were there or he didn’t want to acknowledge us, but yeah, that hapoened.

A while later we see Red Robin (literally) swing by and wave at us, being chased by several cars below, (couldn’t see them, because we’re very high up, but we could hear the engines and tyres.)

And then Batgirl drops onto our fire escape (maybe to have a rest, swinging around must take a lot outta ya), she sees that we were watching Jurassic Park (the second one, then), gives us a double thumbs-up, and turns around and grapples off somewhere, only for a heavily-armoured mobster to come crashing into our window on the other side of the building (with our f-t-c windows).

We woke up the next morning to a Batarang balancing on our kitchen windowsil with a handwritten note, “I apologise on behaf of my partners for the disruption to your evening. The Plexi-Glass was a good call. Their insurance policy covers windowsills as well as the panes, too.”

So yeah, definitely enjoying the Plexi-Glass experience (it’s Batman Approved, too???). I’m recommending it to my cousin in Star City, too. Arrows stuck in your furniture gets old really fast, i’m told.
