When Demomcrats Fail ...
The dilemma facing the Educated Middle Class is both Social and Psychological. Their Education and Social Goals were sought to distance themselves from the more "Survivalist" mode of Living. Their own Fear of their Anger has been Socialized into a series of Beliefs, Social Propriety, which makes Acting on Rage anathema to their self-image. Never having the Courage to have Faced their own Anger, thus Accepting It and Managing it, they more easily express it through Editorial which lays ONLY to clean the shoes of the Dirty who walk over it!
