Tbh I would have liked Spaleb had I not thought it was unnecessary to introduce them so late into the series, knowing that Hanna and Caleb both weren't over eachother. I felt like it was kind of unfair to have Spencer date someone who wasn't fully over his ex, and that would eventually just go back to Hanna. I never got invested in them, because I knew that they would eventually come to an end. I think relationships within friend circles can work, but not a season and a half away from the total

end of a series, after 6 years of Haleb. It worked in Gossip Girl with Serena and Blair both dating Nate at one point, but because they didn't have Blair date Nate for 6 years, then break up and him go off with Serena. I think if they had Hanna and Caleb both cool off for at least a half a season and have an amicable break up, it would have been received a bit better. That being said, I think that it's not the writers fault that people are hateful and want to pick fights, that's the fans fault.

It was absolutely unnecessary, definitely, despite what Marlene says. I hate all the interviews where she talks about how it’s realistic and I mean, it can be. Like you said, it totally can work and it can work. But like you said, there was no closure, it went from them planning their future and then going straight to Hanna being engaged to another guy. That’s hard as an audience to watch. 

I think a problem, too, was that if Spencer and Caleb could have happily stayed in D.C, the lingering feelings he might have had for Hanna would have eventually disappeared fully. Really it was just unfair to Spencer fans, Hanna fans, Caleb fans, Haleb fans, and now Spaleb fans. Hell, and Spanna fans! 

As for the last bit there, I think it goes both ways. Yes, fans shouldn’t pick fights with each other, they shouldn’t fight with each other and be hateful and rude, but that could have been avoided by the writers. They knew this would happen and did it anyways. And I’m not saying that should dissuade them from doing certain things, but when it’s completely unnecessary and they do it anyway knowing full well how people are going to feel? And especially when this fandom has a horrible history of bullying? That’s on the writers. It’s on both parties. And a lot of the times, we fight each other because who else are we going to fight? :/

YES AGREED. I meant as in some people watch PLL but aren't particularly interested in other shows like PLL with mysteries and stuff hahaha

I’m definitely into the mystery genre 😁 A is my favourite character from the show, after the Liars ofc.

I don't hate sara harvey tbh, she's meh to me as a character, but people just go too far with the hate for her. Like she isn't that bad holy shit. And people hate on Dre all of the time and blame her for the reason they don't like Sara but I noticed most of them are just Emison shippers who hate Sara for getting in the way. I don't think Dre is as bad as everyone keeps feeling the need to comment on. Also, "shower harvey" isn't even funny. It's stupid as hell and cringeworthy.

I love Dre’s instagram but I can’t look at the comments because it just makes me so sad. She gets so much hate for her character but it’s directed *at* her. I see “I hope you die” so much and it’s so upsetting because as I like to emphasize even though I shouldn’t bloody have to: Dre is not her character. I don’t know why that’s so hard to comprehend :/ 

And I agree fully about her nickname. I tend not to publish asks that use that name instead of her actual character name. Same with Paige’s nickname. I don’t love Paige but using a nickname that made her wanna kill herself is super gross imo

I recently started watching How To Get Away With Murder and it's amazing! Devious Maids is good too if you're into PLL but actually want answers because you get them at the end of every season and it all makes sense. I say clexa is overrated because I just don't think Lexa is as great as everyone says. She fucks clark over which results in deaths and I don't want to spoil it for you, but yeah.. Idk I don't think Lexa suits Clark imo

How To Get Away With Murder is the best show on television! I know it’s an exaggeration but I can’t get enough of it. Literally you have everything you could possibly want from a show: good plots (check), interesting, diverse characters (check), strong women characters (check), raised awareness on HIV and PrEP (check) and so many other reasons, like Coliver for example :P

I don’t know anything about Clarke/Lexa/The 100 so I can’t comment. I may agree with you if I start watching though and I’m gonna add Devious Maids to my list of shows. And what is “if you’re into PLL” like I have a blog dedicated to it ofc I’m into it lmao.

the 100 is okay, it's not absolutely amazing like some other series, but it's good. i don't even understand the shipping of clexa (clarke and lexa) tbh, they're overrated as hell

Some would say shipping emison is overrated so honestly that’s not going to be a problem for me :P But thanks anyway! Maybe I will start watching it.. I would also like to know what other series are good since I’m always looking for new tv shows to binge watch.

right?! I’m so surprised people are surprised about this? we found out months ago....but yeah I agree, I’m kinda glad she dies tbh like she wouldn’t be very interesting after the time jump anyway
