They really are fantastic creatures, and ice types too which makes them even better. Honestly, outside of maaaaybe Aerodactyl, I'd say the ones from Gen VI are my favorite fossil Pokemon overall.

Sino Claus has a harder time climbing down chimneys than his human counterpart, probably because he doesn’t really have the arms for it (or the opposable thumbs to hold a toy bag). He is trying his best though.

The single worst portrayal in fiction has to be Dingo Pictures' Dinosaur Adventure. It's so bad it's amazing.

Why does your partner have a personal vendetta against the common loon? Or is this an inside joke I don't get?

Hi, partner here. I grew up on a small lake in Minnesota. When I was in middle school, my parents bought a small rowboat to go out on the lake (the lake was too small and full of plants for anything with a motor). The lake was home to a nesting pair of loons. Whenever we went anywhere even remotely near the loons, they’d charge at us making threat displays. Loons aren’t exactly small and they have pretty sharp beaks, so it was kind of scary. Basically they claimed the whole lake. I don’t know how the beavers that lived there managed to coexist, but there you go.
