i realized i never really shared my aethers so here we go!

My first hatch was Tae! Who is not my dragon anymore but thought I'd show for posterity haha. The colors just weren't working for me so I traded aer with @ferberus-skull in return for Ploof, the cerise/honeydew girl! I'd been thinking about the color cerise recently and when I saw her I just felt like she was the one for me c:

And my second egg is Alexandria, which she prefers to spell A|ə×&riᾶ .. funky space library devourer hfghg i'm hoping to get a fun accent for that.

Next up is Bleepbloop who I have shown already, my only m pose so far - they were a gift before aethers and I thought could be fun to make into the new breed! The name he came with turned out to be perfect too haha

and my newest addition that I just got tonight is the swampy looking Throwback Thursday! i thought of the name and had to go aether shopping immediately hfhdfg you can just call them Throwback!

My husband bought us a brand new washer dryer set and I’ve never hand a front load washer and I’m just so amazed that it’s so quiet that I’m sitting on the floor watching it with the cat

At one point I apparently decided Ploof was Mothmas's niece/nibling, because their similar colors... but just now it made me wonder, who would be Ploof's parents/Mothmas's sibling?

Of my other aethers, Panzerotti has a good wing color for the family and is the right age range in lore..but would anyone else work for the other parent? No other aether was a good fit so I went looking at other breeds and omg Trystan. She's also the right age and her primary and tert are extremely close to Ploofs, filling the gap of Panzerotti only matching the wings.. technically if you bred Panzerotti and Trystan it still wouldn't quite work due to falling on the wrong side but shhh

Of the two, I'm gonna say Trystan makes more sense as Mothmas's sister since she's also a wind dragon! Perhaps Trystan used to be an aether but decided she would rather be a Dusthide at some point after having Ploof...she also realized she was trans at some point too, not sure where that fits on her timeline haha. I think Trystan's lived most of her life on the sea though. I don't know how long her marriage with Panzerotti lasted but probably not very long tbh..she was already married to the sea 😔

....the fact Trystan's name literally contains the word tryst was not planned dfgdsfgsdfg i always meant to rename her but omg

The Floof Troop lost its floofiest member today. Cat of many nicknames, sunshine hunter, pigeon-in-a-cat-suit, and the sweetest cat ever. We will miss Ploof more than we can say.
