Drown me out, after all of this pain you won't see me. (Plot C)
You are Zed.
The rain is pouring down on your fur and you grumble to yourself as you try to find your way back to camp. The falling water is like a thicket of brambles, giving you a hard time to see anything at all.
The evening patrol that you had scouted the territory with had gone back to camp as you had chased a vole until it had managed to hide underneath a rock. Now you were alone. Alone, freezing, wet and you could barely see two pawsteps in front of you. You'd need to find some sort of shelter or perhaps call out to see if you were lose to camp.
"Hellooo! Anyone around here?!"
Nothing but rain! Mouse dung! You take a deep breath and impatience gets the better of you. You start dashing in a random direction, the rain pattering on your back and making your fur heavy.
Grass, ice and wet earth made your paws slip several times, but you managed to stay on your feet. Mud covered your legs and your mind was empty as you ran; you just wanted to get back to the others! In a split second you thought you heard someone else and you sped up.
"Hello!? Anyone?!"
Your heart was racing and your paws seemingly flew over the slippery ground that only seemed to get wetter and wetter with each step. The sound of the water was now deafening. Before you had a chance to think, you fell into a big body of water. The river! With desperate trashing, you managed to grab the edge of the ground that you'd just ran off of. Claws desperately clinging onto the mud that was ever so treacherous. With every effort to climb back up, the mud made you slip. There was only one more solution in your head as you continued to uselessly climb up, yell for help.
"HELP! I'M GONNA DROWN!"
The stream got stronger and stronger, the rain was possibly making it overflow. Soon enough a branch was floating towards you with rapid speed, slamming into you and making you loose your grip. You managed to yowl one last cry for help before you were swept away by the stream.
