“Well, that press conference was a train wreck. Let’s go get something to drink so I can forget about it,” she sighed. 

She had every intention of walking out, leaving the Exemplar initiative behind in the morning. So This was her way of getting to say goodbye to him. She didn’t know what the next few months would bring and although Benji was always the furthest from the line of fire, she still worried something might happen to him. One last hurrah, she thought, just so say goodbye.

 “It’s DC, there’s got to be a decent dark pub around here where we can be ignored by all the patrons.”
