Sk8er Boi P L O T !!
Muse A was considered a punk, a rebel, by everyone who knew them. They were, nonetheless, smitten by one of their classmates, Muse B, a pretty and popular student who was known as goody-two-shoes. Muse A asked Muse B out and didn’t hide his crush for them -- B, however, ultimately rejected A even though their feelings for one another were mutual.
5 years have passed since senior year of High School, Muse B is by themselves as a single parent, taking care of their child after a heated divorce. Much to their surprise, when they turned on the TV, Muse A was playing the guitar alongside their band live for the world to see. Shocked by this, Muse B calls their friends for information and they tell B they got tickets to see a concert of Muse A’s band, which is taking place at their city.
Muse B tags along with their friends ( not without having someone take care of their child ). The night of the concert, as Muse B enjoys themselves and bops along to the music, Muse A notices B in the crowd.
Muse B, after the concert ends, searches for Muse A backstage. There is awkwardness due to not seeing each other in the past 5 years. Muse B wants to start over with Muse A, saying it was unfair of them to not give A a chance back in High School.
Some alternative scenarios could lead to:
The slow-burn romance between Muse A and Muse B.
One-sided crush from Muse B for Muse A, which could or could not culminate with them as friends in the end.
One-sided crush/infatuation from Muse B for Muse A, who is currently in a happy relationship with Muse C ( one of the band members ). Muse C, either with indirect hints or by being very blunt and direct, lets Muse B know that there’s no chance for them with Muse A, that they had it long ago and lost it for silly reasons.
