Porky gave Pit Tanetane mushrooms. Powerful hallucinogenic shrooms that cause nightmarish imagery. Likely story, Pit ate some that caused him a hallucination that caused him to doubt you.

@galeem-of-light A Strange Masked man would approach the Lost Angel, followed by a legion of Pig-Like Army Men, each of them making strange Squealing noises, as they all saluted the Man's Arrival. The Man walked up to Pit, before clearing his throat. "It has come to my attention that your Goddess has been treating you poorly. She has treated you as if you were a tool, and not a living being. I simply wish to let you know that the Pigmask Army is always available to you, Angel."

“Thanks? I’m still trying to make out how much of this is real-”
