I have a question for ooc. Since the prologue is over, could you tell us the ways we could have convinced everyone. It did say 2/3 after all...
Ooc: We would love to answer directly, but we’re afraid that if we do, people might spam those types of responses (the answers we give) to resolve future conflicts in the plot. We’ll try our best to answer this ask regardless (sorry if the explanations are a bit vague as a result)!
There were about 2-3 ways to convince Antonio (2-3 ways we foresaw, at least. If people come up with ways we don’t foresee, then we’ll definitely think it over, comparing it to the character’s motivation, and make a decision then). The way that ultimately convinced him was reminding him of his job: he is a police officer, and if word of him being involved in any sort of scandal got back to his superiors, it would likely hurt his career. The other ways we foresaw him being convinced were through one of the brothers, or through an action of Ludwig’s.
Feliciano could have been convinced many ways. He already started out as wanting to help Ludwig (even regardless of Lovino telling him that Ludwig tore his page), so unless Ludwig actively attacked Lovino or Antonio, Feliciano likely would have vouched for Ludwig to stay.
Lovino was the one who remained unconvinced (and this is already reflected in the relationship bar between Ludwig and Lovino, on the blog’s Characters page). Many of the asks only strengthened Lovino’s worries about bringing in an outsider, making Lovino distrust Ludwig even more. Lovino would have needed a lot of convincing regarding a certain someone... One ask came incredibly close to the path of convincing Lovino! They just didn’t hit the nail /quite/ on the head~
Hopefully this manages to answer some of your ask...! Sorry again we can’t be as direct as we’d like...!
But for future conflicts, just think about the motivation of each character. Why are they responding the way they are? There is a reason why Lovino is very anxious or outright hostile around outsiders, whereas Feliciano is more welcoming (plus, one of the puzzles that a follower may/may not have solved can be very helpful with understanding some parts of everyone’s motivations...!).
