Daddy issues | Sukjin x Jinki
Normally he would fall asleep in a car when he was drunk, but now the anger level in his veins were so high that it kept his eyelids wide open. You could feel the fury in the air, the rolling boil of a pot about to run over. It was the quiet before the storm. The only thing that kept him from breaking was the officer sitting next to his father. She didn’t know him or the history between him and the man behind the wheel. He had to keep his mouth shut until he would get the opportunity to be completely alone with his old man.
Twenty minutes or something later, they arrived at the central police station and he was dragged inside by Commander Ji and the female cop whose name he didn’t even know. He hated to admit, but he was glad the police officers were supporting him as his balance was completely wrecked and his legs gave in under the alcohol.
He was brought to a dark investigation room. After putting the drunk man on a seat, the female officer left the room on his father’s orders. The older police officer took a seat at the other side of the metal table. Disappointment was clearly visible in his dark eyes.
“Is there anyone watching us?” the intoxicated man asked, eyeing the dark mirror – which he knew was a one-way window – behind the cop’s head. “Or can I speak freely?”
The sneer was strong and direct. His breathing was ragged and fierce. His rage was reaching the highest level in months, but still he was rational enough to keep his mouth shut until he was sure it was safe to express his anger and frustration.
“Can I tell you that I really hate you and that you’re being so pathetic arresting me without a reason.”
The alcohol was making it difficult to pronounce the words clearly. He was mumbling and stumbling over the most simple words, but he didn’t give a fuck. He was going to tell the man in front of him everything he had on his mind.
“Don’t tell me I was contaminating the crime scene, cuz I wasn’t. And if I was, you would have arrested Joongki as well. But no you let him go and arrested me… don’t you think you’re being suspicious, Commander Ji? Don’t you think people will start asking questions about this? How are you going to explain this to your superiors, huh?”
