Friendly reminder: ADHD is not something to go "haha so quirky so relatable" to. "I have ADHD that means I can't sit still I make random cute noises and I'm loud haha--" No. Okay? Yes; there might be people who have those symptoms, I ain't denying it, BUT ADHD is, aside from this, much more nuanced than that (you also get fatigue, restlessness, you hyperfocus, not to be confused with hyperfixate, you get anxiety, lack of motivation,...) ADHD doesn't just turn you into a quirky sunshine person who's "not like the others" and whatnot. It can be pretty freaking stupid. And the feeling of not being good enough or being annoying unless you take your pills is equally stupid, talking from experience. I am NOT saying that if you happen to have ADHD and you especially have these symptoms particularly bad, you are faking or something, don't misunderstand me. But there are TikToks that go, "10 signs you have ADHD :3333" and then spew out the biggest, most stereotypical symptoms ever. It generalizes ADHD so much and I hate it! ADHD is complex. And if you have it, it makes you complex!! It doesn't just turn you into a weird and quirky alien.
