I apologize for not being able to go out and get supplies for town. My owner did not go out on the supply run, so I am here for the time being.

Clementine had spent the last night before in the hospital, trying to get her cuts stitched up and something on her stomach. In the last month outside of town, she barely ate anything of substance — just enough to survive. Needless to say, she had lost enough weight to look nearly sickly. Even hospital food sounded better than what she was living off of.
She walked out of the hospital, speaking to the nurse who was about to head back. “Thanks. Hopefully I didn’t waste too much in there.” Clementine didn’t even notice the person that was walking up to her.
“Wait- what happened?”
Riff-Raff || Matthew + ?
Matthew wasn’t sure what he was doing, all he knew was that he hated seeing that broken-down trailer, being reminded of what little they had, so he went out of his way to avoid it. That, in turn, resulted in avoiding Joel, but Matthew figured that was probably for the best. Things had felt awkward after his breakdown in the middle of Shady Grove, and Matthew wasn’t sure how to address it, so he just ignored the subject all-together.
Now he was standing near the Trading Post, eyeing the goods there and wondering if he could get away with just nabbing something and running off. He rubbed his thigh through his faded and torn jeans absently, over the scar his knife had left. It still throbbed sometimes, and he couldn’t run as fast as he used to. But he could walk without a noticeable limp, at least.
I wish I had heard about that supply run sooner. I would’ve been plenty of help out there.
That fight club thing doesn’t look too bad.
I might go for it sometime.
I think what the town needs is less people trying to involve themselves in other’s people’s business. Seriously. I got questioned in where I was going with the canned food I had, like I was pulling some sort of scandal.
