Someone sent a mean message to pluckyplumbobs. I like pluckyplumbobs - they are amazing! I do not put up with it if you say something mean to my friends or the amazing people who I love but they don’t even know me. (a.k.a pluckyplumbobs, bellesgrotto, taylor swift.) 

My message to anon: There is a simple technique to stop someones post from being on your dashboard. All you do is find the unfollow button and click it. There you have your wish and you don't ruin someones day.

Do you have any tips on starting a legacy?

Hi friend! Of course! I’m so flattered you want my advice c:

I only have two pointers, really. The first one is to think about what you want in terms of a legacy, not what everyone else is doing. Just want to post pictures of your sims with little to no dialogue and go though the generations quickly? Go for it! Want to choose your heir yourself, rather than putting it up to a vote for your followers? You should do that! Want a founder that sprouts glittery wings and has the second form of a unicorn that follows his or her descendants through the generations? Hell yes absolutely!

The fact is, legacies are probably the most versatile sims challenge, in that you can make them pretty much whatever you want to! Why do you want to start a legacy? What do you like about the sims? Pinpoint that and as long as you’re doing what you think is fun, it’ll be easier to stick with your family longer and make it through more generations (and if you’re not that kind of simmer, it’s okay to drop your legacy and start a new one whenever you want!). Some of the best received simblr legacies are ones that are unique in some way, and that are obviously something the simmer likes to be doing.

My second piece of advice, like is essential to all writing, is read other legacies! I know this might be somewhat contradictory to what I just said, but reading other legacies can be really great for inspiration, making friends, and figuring out how you want to structure things! There are so many great, diverse legacies out there to read, but here are a few of my favorites:

I know I said I only had two pieces of advice, but there is one more…recognize that you will get better! When I started the Flora Legacy a year ago, it was TERR-I-BLE! I still go back to Gen One every once in a while and cringe. BUT, I loved what I was doing at the time, and I’ve gotten so much better over that one year from developing my writing and looking at other simblrs. If you’re feeling discouraged, keep going! All you can do is improve! And making friends on here is a great way to get the word out (if you’d like to reach out again off anon, I’d be more than happy to be added to that list!)
