Self Ship Promo (2020 Edition)

(Since everyone’s in promo season in the first day of a new decade, might as well do it now.)

Hello, this is Mari, a 26 year old Chinese Filipino at the other side of the globe (aka the Philippines) with too much time spent in staring at Pinterest pins, YouTube watching, and thinking of new ideas for stuff. Also, I’m interested in fashion, beauty, books, pop culture, travel, history, tea, and the House of Romanov (if you see a Romanov post getting reblogged into your dash, that would be me).

I’ve been fully self-shipping for a year and 2 months right now. I have 6 main F/Os (and way too many now and in the future) and only one (Hamilton the musical’s Philip Hamilton) is a romantic f/o; everyone else is either a platonic or familial f/o, including the other mains: Harry Potter (older adopted brother), Isabelle Miravelez(-Potter, bestie in law), Kairi (younger adopted sister), Kirby (best friend), and Toei’s Marina (the former mermaid princess, really close friend).

I mostly do writing and reblogging stuff, but I also will do moodboards, playlists, and other miscellaneous as well. I’m too incompetent in drawing to save my life though. Just be aware that I have Asperger Syndrome since toddlerhood, and if I did sound like a jerk without no intention of being one, just let me know right away, my brain can go faster than either my mouth or hands can do. And let’s start 2020 in the right note and be excellent with each other.

Harry: Guys, normally we would have hand over the blog to Mari after a takeover, but because of well, you know what happening in the world now, we’re actually hosting the blog until Saturday.

Issa: Mari thought that it would be for the best, since we are all stuck inside our homes at this time. But we do have someone else joining in the fun as well...

This just comes in: my big brother Harry and my bestie Issa have finally gotten engaged during Ron and Hermione’s wedding! I’m so proud of these two lovebirds myself, and the same can be said for everyone in our circle. In case you know not what I’m talking, I suggest that you should read this story up until the end.

But here’s the catch with the wedding we’ll be planning: it’s a small intimate wedding among friends and relatives at San Francisco (me and most of my f/os live either in Daly City, San Francisco, or neighboring cities and towns. Don’t expect anything fancy from us within the next 3-4 months (either late June or early July). Spread the news around, people.

F/O Takeover late June 2019

It’s that time again: F/O Takeover season! With Harry and Issa getting married within less than 2 weeks from now, I thought I’ll let the whole fam bunch run the blog again and everyone’s FREE to ask them about the wedding so far. Plus, I’ll be releasing the story and a few last things about the wedding within the 2 weeks time period as well, including the last call to sign up for the wedding event too. As with before, I’ll have to start a little early as I live on the other side of the planet (aka Philippines).
