Hello, Fyodor, whenever I need some artist advice, you're the first person I think of :) In your FAQ you've given some details on what tools you use, but I'm not sure if you only use Micron pens or do you also use nibs for inking? If you do, could you recommend any? I've been using Micron pens myself, but I want to get back to nibs and real ink-- I like my ink darker than my the pit of hell and Microns don't quite cut it. Cheers!
Man, I’ve been trying to get into nibs and bottle inks myself, but I’m a Micron diehard. That said, Winsor & Newton have solid inks, and I just have good ol’ fashioned Speedball nibs.
For darker than pits of hell black (which I am also very into) I sometimes layer either brush Micron pen over the inked surface, or solid lamp black watercolor.
