Iwaizumi from Ode to Broken Things by plumtrees
This fic destroyed me. Stripper Iwa... *clenches fist*
Shirabu HC: he cuts his own hair. Isn't even careful about it. Just grabs a pair of scissors and cuts haphazardly until his bangs aren't getting in his eyes anymore. One day, Semi (his mom is a hairdresser) scolds him about not even using the proper scissors, about hair damage and how the ends are just gonna irritate the skin because of how messy they're cut. So he sits Shirabu down and cuts his hair /properly/. (1/?)
And Shirabu lowkey doesn't want to admit that he likes it because it actually looks /good/ and sometimes when they have time before practice Semi even washes his hair over the sink and gives him a massage and one time he fell asleep but when he woke up Semi didn't tease him about it. (2/?)
Semi doesn't really ask anything in return but Shirabu makes tekka maki at home and anonymously sneaks it into Semi's locker. Semi knows it's him anyway, and thanks him for the meal and returns the empty (and washed) bento box during practice. (3/3)
THIS IS SO CUTE!!! I really really think Shirabu doesn’t care much for his hair, it feels to me like “OK I want it to be long, but I still want to see somehow?” So I agree w/ you on this hahaha.
Also doing each other’s hair is very intimate ... so this is like... waaahhhh my heart
For the artist ask meme! 3, 6, 11! Have a wonderful day <3
3. what song(s) do you listen to when you do art?
mostly songs that reflect my mood, or the mood of the drawing!! I like to sing while drawing so it’s rarely instrumental stuff. my fave playlists are atm my shiragoshi one (to which I am still adding new stuff), my ennofuta one, and the one themed for the fancomic I had in planning (which isn’t published on spotify though sryy)
6. tag your favorite artists/inspirations!
*rubs hands* I have so many of those actually!!
I love Mingjue Helen Chen’s work very much. I love how she uses lines and proportions and how she acknowledges anime as a source of inspiration and art. Her feeling for moody environments is amazing.
Loish was, for soooo many years now, a rolemodel for painting. Her stunning use of color, texture and unique way of stylization fascinates me.
Destiny Blue is someone I admire very much. I adore her use of color and her meaningful art concepts. I adore how she still manages to go her way and live for art although she is suffering from depression. I love how open she is about it, how educational and personal.
When it comes to my fellow fanartists, there are a lot of sooo many talented people I adore! It would be too much listing them all, and I’d feel bad forgetting someone! just look @ the people I follow on twitter and then you’ll know :D
11. warm or cool colors?
BOTH because: my fave color is blue/grey, I mostly sketch in violet/purple tones, but my paintings mostly turn out warm, so~~
Thanks for the asks, have a nice day too <3

@plumtreeforest Happy Fanfic Writers Appreciation Day!
Ok I seriously need to work on reading more than one fic from each of these writers this is getting a lil bad. A Ring of Cream was so cute and sweet and now I kinda want to be proposed to with a cream puff. Is that a bad thing? I don’t really think so lol
FOOLS LIKE US. 1, 5, 11, 13 :D
I REALLY should get my act together when it comes to answering messages but... ¯\_( ̄▽ ̄)_/¯ Anyway, THANK YOU!! ;v; <333
1: What inspired you to write the fic this way?I... honestly don’t remember? I’m trying but I’m drawing a blank. I think it’s been too long... @_@ Sorry!!
5: What part was hardest to write? The ending, where the narration waxes lyrical about how they could have weathered it out a little longer but were glad they didn’t have to. Writing fic endings will always be my bane. And looking back, the ending of Fools Like Us would probably one of the bits that the Me of today would re-write. 0v0
11: What do you like best about this fic?Hmm overall, I'm a sucker for the concept of two people being far away from each other but being reunited at the end—*CLENCHES FIST*—so I guess I... do like the general idea of this fic? For actual writing, I like the banter when Hanamaki tells Matsukawa “You know what, I lied. I actually don’t miss you, Issei” and that bit where Hanamaki thinks Matsukawa is just an illusion. That was quite emotional to write but I enjoyed it!
13: What music did you listen to, if any, to get in the mood for writing this story? Or if you didn't listen to anything, what do you think readers should listen to to accompany us while reading?AAAHHH I don’t remember what I was listening to specifically at the time, but if you are in a musical mood, whether reading this fic or not, I would say... instrumental songs from artists such as Soulostar, July, Raujika, and DJ Okawari. (I think I was listening to these guys a lot around the time I was writing Fools Like Us)
