It's almost time to sneak out and go to the lake. Hagrid had told him that the weather might freeze the lake sooner than last year. Which meant his choice to return to home for break was out of the question. They had spent lunch brainstorming over his dilemma. He had to sleep surrounded in water, it was the only way he could drift into his subconscious. The subject dwelled in Octavius's mind through all the rest of the classes that day. Walking into his room he sets down the books in his hand. The toad leaps off his shoulder to croak on his made bed. Because he.. didn't sleep in it, and had grown too lazy that morning to make it look otherwise. Casting a glance over to his roommate he grunts. "If I hear the term mudblood one more, I'm going to throw mud in their face. Frozen mud. Why do they say it?" He told himself he probably had seaweed in his blood, but mud? Absolutely not. He blinks and sighs to himself realizing he forgot the crucial part of the muggle customs. "Hello Reggie. Apologies for being.. rude. I should have said hello first." After the apology is thrown he motions the toad on the bed to move away, so he can sit down and stare at his bunkmate intently.
