I remember there being a post about how much plurality and alterhumans overlap somehow and I just. Can't get rid of it from my head. Because I'm plural AND alterhuman. It's weird and I can't explain it. I wonder just how many plural alterhumans there are out there.

though we prefer not to use the term plural personally since we are disordered, it feels demeaning to us , at least at the moment
they do have a small amount of overlap , but i do hope nobody tries to equate the two (as in saying "plural = alterhuman" and all) since plurality is very often grouped as being the same as systemhood/multiplicity , and it just leaves a gross taste in my mouth thinking about people grouping traumatized individuals instantly into a group of nonhumans (ygwim? it's like. it feels dehumanizing in a way to me) :'^)
though!! as long as people aren't equating multiplicity & plurality to being the same thing (as multiplicity/systemhood is strictly traumagenic in nature, since those terms are used medically to describe CDDs and their symptoms), plurality itself is so broad that i definitely believe there are nontraumagenic plurals! i mean, hell, in a way multi-spirited individuals could be considered nontraumagenic plurals i think? "
