Sysmilk headcanons! (the graphics are free to use as icons, if you want to ☆)

System: OSDD-1b (lacks amnesia between alters). Unaware that they are a system. They all believe that they are Shadow Milk, who has different "mindsets" he takes on. Shadow Milk Cookie: Current host. Originated as a protector, now a persecutor. Initially split when Fount was attacked by the angry mob depicted in Dominion of the Beasts 2. Fount of Knowledge: Ex-host and core. Infrequent solo-fronter, occasional co-fronter. Young Shepherd Cookie: Syskid and innocence-holder. Only fronts when by himself. Initially split during their imprisonment in the Silver Tree, partially to make up for the system's lack of a childhood.

Pearl from Steven Universe refers to her "inner Pearls" as distinct from her and, if I'm remembering right, she says they're jealous that she gets to be "on the surface" or something along those lines

i think rosie is very much more of an internal presence. it is very rare to see her have full control of front, which is on purpose at this point

Moonpaw, a newish character in Warrior Cats, is plural in canon. Her experiences are largely relatable to fans with DID and other forms of systemhood, though quite a few also see her as an allegory for intrusive thoughts and/or suicidal ideation.

Moonpaw is haunted by the ghost of her twin sister, who died only days old and seemingly latched onto Moonpaw to live vicariously through her. They exchange dialogue in Moonpaw's head, and as she gets older she finds herself struggling to make decisions and focus due to Morningkit's interference with her life. Morningkit even displays the ability to take Moonpaw's body while she's sleeping, which Moonpaw won't remember. She also has the ability to physically harm Moonpaw, and does so when Moonpaw tries to send her to the afterlife. Morningkit also holds deep resentment for Moonpaw's friends, and tries repeatedly to drive them away. She wants Moonpaw to die so they can be together without anyone in their way.

Personally, I believe Moonpaw and Morningkit to be two parts of a fantasy system. Morningkit is intended to be a spooky evil ghost baby, but if anything she reads as a little alter struggling to adjust to change and lashing out. In no world would I want the Erins intentionally writing a system, Moonpaw is almost the ideal here. Even without intent, she feels representative of real system experiences and I'm very fond of her personally, even considering her flaws.

Omori is sooooo system coded like Sunny is so obviously a singletsona. And they’ve got brainmades fictives AND factives. Omori is the host (/persecutor?), Hero and Mari are like caretakers, Aubrey is a protector, Kel idk he’s like their comic relief guy, Basil is their gatekeeper. Etc etc. and they LIVE in HEADSPACE
