Which could mean nothing!
In our beautiful mind, these are all different alters
One day we gotta write our plural ENA analysis….
Our brilliant mind
(Spoilers for Gachiakuta and TW for implications of s*xual abuse)
you can tell Sunny is plural because he projected onto a comfort character a bit too hard and ended up with a fictive as what could be argued is a primary trauma holder
Going back
((A/N system Trip angst. TW for dissociation, dormancy, suicide, drug addiction, going back to an abuser, persecutor being harmful towards the system unintentionally, alter arguments. Dormancy is a state of inactivity during which a system member or group will be "asleep" for a certain amount of time.
A persecutor is a headmate who acts harmfully towards other system members and/or the body, and in some definitions, others outside of their system. The harm they cause may be intentional or unintentional.))
Trip woke up in an alleyway with a bottle of pills next to him. With bruises littering his body. With absolutely no memory of how he got there. His eyes darted to a bottle of pills before widening.
He was supposed to be done with them. He was done with them. They all were.
Except for one, Malcolm. Malcolm was constantly wanting to get more drugs as Malcolm believed they needed them. Malcolm wasn’t supposed to front, for all their safety.
Except Malcolm did. And it had left the body covered in bruises. It left the body holding a bottle of pills Trip knew could have only come from their abuser. The cause of their system.
Their gatekeeper was supposed to stop Malcolm from fronting. Had Malcolm hurt her? Trip knew how dangerous Malcolm could unintentionally be towards the system. Trip also knew he only had one option to figure out what had happened, that was to trigger Malcolm close to the front. Trip wasn’t good at triggering fronts, he could only pray.
“We were happier with them,” Malcolm’s voice was calm, deadly calm, like he hadn’t done anything wrong.
“We spent so long to get free,” Trip argued back.
“We’re so stressed without them,” Malcolm snapped back although something in Malcolm’s voice broke.
Trip paused.
“You’re hurting us,” Trip replied, trying to be gentle, he wasn’t used to it.
“I didn’t mean to! I’m just trying to keep us happy,” Malcolm snarked back, Malcolm’s voice rising.
“You’re the only one who isn’t happy without them, please Malcolm, you’re hurting us!” Trip yelled back.
“Fine, you want me gone then fine!” Malcolm stormed off.
“Malcolm, wait!” Trip called out but he couldn’t feel Malcolm anymore. Malcolm was there then gone.
Malcolm had gone dormant.
And Trip knew it was suicide.
