America, the land of the free, a country of diversity and a comfortable mix of the old world in Europe with it's cobblestone roads and war torn history and the new, soils enriched with the blood of liberty and pride. Little did she know of his country and the man who held the country upon his shoulders - his charisma and personality drew people in. The relationship between their leaders were friendly, as far as Carlotta was concerned, which ended up being a good thing since she always enjoyed venturing out on her own in a new territory, like a kid at Christmas.
Perhaps it was due to their personalities being mostly the same - where she was more laid back and he was boisterous. Everyone turned their attention to him when he spoke, demanding attention, Carlotta wasn't entirely meek in nature, but she could never captivate a room like he could. Italy was not an intimidating country, it'd be foolish to think of Italy and the woman who represented its land to be intimidating--but where there's a spark, there is a fire.
❝America?❞ She would have used his human name, but it would have been a dishonour to him. Carlotta didn't know him well enough to be privileged to use his human name. ❝What do you do for fun here~?❞ It was a good way to start a friendship - she knew little of San Francisco, so she was more than excited to see what the city had to offer an Italian "tourist".
